Quilt blocks are the building blocks of a quilt, and mastering different block patterns opens up many possibilities. You can combine different quilt blocks in one quilt to make a sampler quilt. This is a great way to try out different blocks. When repeating the same blocks multiple times you can create patterns and the repetition of making the same block several times helps you to get better at learning to assemble a specific block.
